they say Anthony wrote the first Circa album to be a giant reference or interpretation of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. excuse my musical boner, but if this is true then i love this man even more. the only song that obviously plays evidence to this rumor is the song “meet me in montauk” not just bc of the title but read the lyrics. if you know anything about the movie then you’ll get it. can anyone confirm whether this rumor is true or not?
