when I arrived in Tarragona, my friend Julia took me on a historical tour of the town which was once home to Caesar and used the forests to basically build Tarragona as his empire. we walked through some of the old ruins and I got to walk across one of the first major aqueducts built by the Romans and it felt incredible. I’ve never experienced something so tangible and close to history as that.
