honestly, I cannot express how excited I am to be in pajamas snuggled up on the couch watching Real Housewives marathon with Andy Cohen as I munch on arugula salad and grilled chicken. and I plan on going out for pizza right after.
I’ll be damned if I leave this place for anything other than some cheap grub. even if it is New Years Eve.

the world is boring when you get a bajillion hitz...
this entertained me. thanks for the link, Kir. and now I feel compelled to respond. however, these comments, are better:
wow, what a shitty attitude. i guess when traveling around the world for a living becomes ‘all in a days work’ you might feel that way. i’m glad that i’m inexperienced and naive enough to still find wonder and excitement in even the mundane and day-to-day in the new places...

since you won’t have swallowed a kilo of coke before the flight, there’s no reason to be scared. just eat on the plane is all i’m saying. i mean, it ain’t spain; but it ain’t the green zone, either. just be smart on the ground and you’ll be fine.
I feel like snorting coke would probably help me get...

yeah, drug. sorry. it doesn’t matter what you eat, just let the cabin crew see you stuffing your face at some point during the flight. being a single latina flying to/from bogota you WILL be watched, a colombian gf of mine learned the hard way.
great. this is the first piece of advice that legit puts a fright in...
Yo Fuck Momofuku.
People like Julie Collazo reaffirm my belief in my work. I absolutely love having a mentor who sees eye to eye with me on so many things. I need to surround myself with more people like her in the new year.
wallofdis answered your question: Bogota agenda:
eat like a horse on the plane there and back, and have someone do your laundry the night before you leave. both tips are in re the dug trade.
I really hope that was a spelling mistake for “drug trade.”
what if I hate airplane food?

Police walk into a shady club full of women “dancers,” including at least one minor, being paid next to nothing, forced to make up selling quotas with sex acts, without proper immigration documentation. They arrest the 81 women and aim most toward deportation proceedings, while the club is free to hire replacement dancers and continue...

2011, the Year I Give Life the Middle Finger
I normally don’t do this, unless I come across reading something so true and so inspiring, I feel the need to quote it on here. but most nights out of the week I obsessively read through my Google Reader and find a piece that strikes a chord in me. tonight, it’s a blog post written by a girl who’s become a good friend of mine, and sort of my Canadian twin.

xmas gifts recap:
set of moleskin journals (YESSSS! STATIONARY NERD FTW!)
iPod (now I can waste 6hrs on a plane sleeping to good music)
lots of leggings, leg warmers, and winter socks
gift cards galore (I predict a travel-fed shopping spree in the future)
bedroom organizer set
new coat (finally, a nice winter jacket, so I can give my old ones to New York Cares)
flat iron (so I can finally straighten this...
Whoever raises their kids to let them run around a fine dining restaurant, yelling and screaming for no fucking reason needs to be punched in the gullet. Sit your ass down and behave like normal citizens. This isn’t a toy store.
If I ever have kids in this city, I’m hibernating them til they’re 18.
I love going to restaurants so often that I recognize the same waiters every time
Boots, I will get you. One day.
The rest of this stuff is satisfactory. I will just pack it away for Bogota.
